Sometimes You Just Get Lucky

Like when you drive over 100 miles, go to gear up and see this.
The camera survived and the fishing was pretty good too.

  2. holy sh*t! That's great.

I once dropped my camera while wading and didn't realize it. 10 minutes later I went to reach for it and it was missing. As I started to walk out of the water to look for it, I noticed it in my net, hanging about an inch above the water. I reached down to grab it and my movement was just enough to dunk it.

I now carry a waterproof one.

  3. No camera horror stories here. Yours was enough for me.

  4. That is one of those moments when you just stand there in disbelief.

A camera can take a licking and keep on clicking. I fell this summer in a local stream and the camera down with me, but after a week of drying it still works.

  6. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Clif, that is exactly how I felt. I couldn't even recreate that pictures if I wanted too. I'm not even sure how it was possible. It's like my camera was sliding out of the back at the same time I shut the hatch back and didn't notice it.
