Fly Fishing At The Beach

I tried my luck at the beach over the weekend. I found a ton of fiddler crabs plundering what they could before the tide came in. There was bait every where but I only managed to catch one small Jack Crevalle. Not the greatest video but it does give you a little moment of Zen.

    Impressed with the video, I notice there wasn't any fast head movement, which can cause the video to be jumpy---good job. Fly fishing from the beach is something I need to try. Are the fiddler crabs eatable? Thanks for sharing

      I'm not sure if you can eat fiddler crabs. Bait fisherman love to use them. I wasn't using any kind of strap to take this video. I had the camera fixed on a telescoping pole. I used that to get close to the crabs without freaking them out too much.
