Yes It's Crowded!

You can either deal with the crowds or stay home. That's all there is to it. It was a good call to get there early.
Even on a weekday I wasn't alone.
Combat fishing at its best. You sometimes wonder why fish would bite with this much pressure.
Of course they do and it's a feeling I waited a year for. I can't get enough of it. The posts might be light the next couple weeks, you know where I'll be.

  1. Very nice! I wish I could some Striper runs near me. We have a great Striper lake nearby, but I don't have the boat to chase them. You are lucky to have access to a nice wadeable Striper fishery... even if it's only once a year. Enjoy while it lasts.

    1. These are white bass. There isn't many places you can wade for stripers in NC.

I know the crowded feeling; our tailrace here is no place to be casting on a weekend. Beautiful area you are fishing, looking forward to more post from this area. Thanks for sharing

  4. Wow, that first picture is spectacular Kevin. I guess I'm lucky that we have so many choices. You can fish in a crowd or all alone...your choice.
