Sorry I Haven't Been Posting Much

I've been kind of preoccupied with the new addition to the family. I can't wait to cast a line with my new fishing buddy. While the kids were napping I was able to get out today at a neighborhood pond. We had a tornado come a little too close to home yesterday. It gave the family a scare but everyone is fine. The water in the pond was stained and the fishing was really slow. I managed two bass on a pink wooly bugger. I was really just messing around. The other stereotypical bass flies I tried yielded no results. It was a great day to be outside and the snakes and turtles were enjoying the sun. I have never seen as many as I did today.

  3. Kev, first congradulations on the new addition. He is a beautiful guy.
Next, I am a transplanted fisherman from Louisiana. I have been reading your blogs and find it fantastic. I am planning on trying out the ENO river but do have a couple of questions that hopefully you would not mind answering. One, I met with the people who work in the Ranger's Office in ENO Park. They showed me the maps they had and pointed out 6 or 7 spots. Which do you recommend for both fly and spinning reel fishing. My second question is what lures and/or flys do you recommend. Sorry to sound like an amatuer but I have not fished here since I relocated and for some reason people don't seem to want to share info. Thanks for you time and good luck.
